====== Basics ====== Combat is done through combat screen. The combat screen can be activated multiple ways, depending where you are. Every combat-command given starts one combat round. Depending on combat command crew is tries fill that command as good as they can. After combat round there is regrouping time, when ship cannot attack. When regrouping time is over, crew can carry new combat command. ===== Land combat ===== The crew which has landed can attack enemy crew or buildings. Enemy crew has to be in same tile where players crew is. ==== Crew Combat ( Land ) ==== Select enemy crew from ? TODO ==== Crew Combat ( building ) ==== If player is in same tile that building is, player can attack building crew and defense structures. Attacking building is done by selecting...? TODO Building combat screen contains...? TODO Building crew can also attack against players crew. ( see offensive building types ) ===== Sea combat PvP ===== Player can attack enemy ship by selecting ship to attack from other ships menu, and clicking "Attack"-command Attacking opens combat screen. Player can select attack type from crew combat, cannon combat or ramming. Target ship counter counters back with same type of attack mode. ==== Crew Combat ( ship ) ==== Crew combat sends crew members into another ship for melee. ==== Cannon Combat ==== Fire cannons command shoots all enabled cannon against enemy vessel. All cannons of both attacking and defending vessel are shooting. Few exceptions * There needs to be one base crew member for every cannon. If cannon count exceeds crew count only so many cannons are fired than there is crew. * Every cannon uses ammunition. If ammunition storage is empty, cannon cannot shoot. * Cannon slot is marked as active If all conditions above are met, cannon will shoot when fire cannons command is given. After Fire cannon-command it takes 1 sec to regroup. See [[combat|basics]] Note: both ships can sink, if damage both ways exceed hull points of ships. ==== Ramming ==== Ramming is when player vessel runs towards enemy vessel and hits it. That causes damage to ships hull. Armor does not protect against ramming attack. Hit probability comes from Tactics, Navigation and target ships size. Ship size + loaded tons have effect on damage as does players Navigation skills. If collision occurs, damage is caused both ways, 100:30 portion. (Both ships cause damage according their own mass)
